cPanel & WHM 136 introduced a combined PHP error log at ~/logs/php.error.log, where ~ is the account home directory. Older installations and application-specific logging can use other locations.
- Record the failing URL and time.
- Inspect the available PHP log privately and match the request with its error.
- Also check cPanel’s Errors interface and the application’s own diagnostics where relevant.
- Correct the identified cause and repeat one controlled request.
Keep detailed errors out of public responses. Redact credentials and personal data before sharing excerpts; do not move the log into a website directory for easier downloading.
