Publishing a Sitejet Website Safely Print

Publishing a Sitejet design deploys it to the selected domain. Treat publication over an existing website as a replacement operation, not just an editor preview.

  1. Confirm the destination domain and keep a separate backup of the existing website.
  2. Review the new design, links, and content before selecting Publish.
  3. If cPanel offers a restore point for the existing site, create it. The Restore action for the previous non-Sitejet site depends on an existing site and a saved restore point; it is not a general backup history.
  4. Save any existing robots.txt separately before first publication and restore the intended rules afterward.
  5. If publication exceeds the account quota, review storage usage before retrying. Do not delete unrelated files to make space.
  6. Check the public website after publication.
