Moving a Sitejet Website to Another Domain Print

Copy a Sitejet design to an eligible destination, then publish it there. This is not the separate full-account transfer service offered by Sitejet Studio. Back up both sites and confirm that replacing the destination is intentional.

  1. Open the source editor. Depending on the editor layout, use More → Copy & Share Site or the menu option Share & Copy Website.
  2. Copy or generate a sharing code. If code options are offered, a one-time code can be used once; a perpetual code can be reused until replaced. Keep the code private.
  3. Open the destination editor and its copy/share tool. For a new cPanel Sitejet destination, a placeholder template may be needed to enter the editor.
  4. Paste the code into the copy field, follow the displayed confirmation, review the imported design, and publish to the intended domain.

Verify the new website before changing the old site. Mailboxes and domain registration are separate from copying a website design.
