The editor provides page controls, content elements, design settings, and previews. Learn which page and element are selected before making changes.
Steps
- Open a page and select a text or image element. Use its settings for that element and the design controls for site-wide styling.
- Use undo and redo to review recent editing actions. Save a small change once it looks correct.
- Check desktop, tablet, and mobile previews, including menus and long text.
- Distinguish the editor preview from an external preview: they may show unsaved or last-saved content differently.
- Follow the hosting integration's publishing control when ready to deploy to the public domain.
Check the result
Compare the editor, saved preview, and public site so you know which version each view displays.
Before you continue
Do not assume Save and Publish have identical behavior across Sitejet products. In hosted cPanel workflows, publishing deploys the project to the domain. Verify the public address after deployment instead of relying only on the editor canvas.
