Use the current AI App Hosting Git workflow when it offers SSH-key setup.
- Choose the intended domain and Git source, then enter the repository’s SSH clone URL.
- Select a key, or create one through Meridian’s SSH-key controls. Grant its public key access at the Git host; keep the private key secret.
- Supply the key passphrase if prompted. Newer deployments support passphrases and require them again for redeployment.
- Review the connection result before deploying.
If cloning fails, distinguish repository access, host-key trust, HTTPS authentication, and passphrase errors. Verify the Git host’s published fingerprint before accepting an unfamiliar host key. Retrying unchanged credentials will not resolve the failure.
