Fixing a Missing Build Output Directory in Meridian Print

A successful build command does not guarantee a deployable result. Meridian can reject a build when the configured output directory was not produced.

  1. Read the deployment log and record the missing directory.
  2. Compare the build command and its output with the project’s own configuration.
  3. Review the detected build output directory under deployment’s Advanced settings; correct it when detection was wrong.
  4. Deploy again after the build and destination agree, then test the public app.

Do not point the output at a directory containing secrets just to satisfy the check. A project may need a build correction rather than a different directory name.

Documentation for this guidance: docs.cpanel.net — deploy a website with nodejs; docs.cpanel.net — ai app hosting release notes.
