How to Publish a Sitejet Website Safely in cPanel Print

Publishing deploys the saved Sitejet project to its selected hosting destination. Prepare recovery before the first replacement of an existing website.

Steps

  1. Confirm the project, domain, and actual document root. Inspect existing content and keep a separate recoverable backup.
  2. Before the first cPanel Sitejet publication, save any existing robots.txt separately: cPanel documents that this first publication deletes it. Plan how to restore the intended rules afterward.
  3. Preview pages, language versions, menus, downloads, forms, and mobile layouts. Remove template sample content and verify public contact details.
  4. Check available storage and the destination’s eligibility, then use Publish once and wait for a success result.
  5. Restore any intended robots rules through the appropriate hosting controls, then check the live file and page-indexing settings.
  6. Visit the public HTTPS domain outside the editor and test important pages and actual form delivery.

Check the result

Confirm the intended design and current content, valid HTTPS, working navigation, and a received form test. For stale output, compare the destination and relevant caches.

Before you continue

Do not rely solely on an offered automatic restore point; verify that it was created and what it covers. Keep changes to generated site files within the supported builder workflow.
