How to Use the Sitejet Backup Manager Print

The builder's backup manager provides project recovery points. These differ from full hosting-account backups.

Steps

  1. Open the builder menu and choose Backups. Review the available dates and labels.
  2. Create a named manual backup before a major design change when the control is available.
  3. To recover earlier work, select the intended backup and inspect the components actually available in this product and edition. Restore Collections only when that feature and its backup component are present.
  4. Confirm restoration only after checking what current editing work will be replaced. Wait for it to finish.
  5. Preview the restored project before publishing it to the public domain through your hosting integration.

Check the result

Check restored pages, media, menus, and any collection-based content. Confirm the public site separately after publishing.

Before you continue

Editor recovery does not guarantee restoration of mailboxes, DNS, unrelated files, or external services. Preserve a current project recovery point before rolling back so newer work can be recovered if the older version is unsuitable.
