Building and Checking Multiple Languages in Sitejet Print

When multilingual controls are available in your Sitejet edition, create deliberate language versions and review each one as a separate visitor journey.

Steps

  1. Open Pages → Languages, enable multilingual mode, add the required language, and save.
  2. Review the page-copy choice before proceeding. The documented default copies the homepage; other pages can be translated individually, or the language-copy preference can copy all pages.
  3. Translate page text, buttons, menus, form labels, and page metadata. Copying a page supplies a starting structure; it is not a completed translation.
  4. Check each language’s pages and links after later edits. A copied language page is independent, so a correction in one language may need a matching change elsewhere.
  5. Preview the language switcher and resulting language-prefixed paths, then publish. Test a visitor arriving directly on an inner page as well as through the homepage.

Check the result

Each language should have usable navigation, complete content, working forms, and the intended page destinations without mixed-language labels.

Before you continue

Plan the default language before enabling the structure. The documented Languages screen does not let you freely remove or replace the original default language afterward.
