How to Configure and Test a Sitejet Contact Form Print

A form needs both a usable layout and a verified delivery destination. A success message alone does not prove that a submission reached a mailbox.

Steps

  1. Add a suitable form preset and select the form container to open its settings.
  2. Set the recipient explicitly to the mailbox that should receive submissions.
  3. Review field labels and required fields. Collect only the information needed for the form's purpose.
  4. Keep the available spam protection enabled and review the success or error messages.
  5. Preview and publish, then submit a clearly labeled test using non-sensitive details.

Check the result

Check that the message reaches the intended mailbox and that its fields are readable. Test required-field errors and the mobile layout as well.

Before you continue

Do not assume Sitejet Studio customer-portal features are available in a hosting-panel builder. If delivery fails, inspect the recipient spelling, mailbox spam folder, and form configuration. Avoid repeatedly submitting tests without checking whether earlier messages were delayed.
